DXLIVE Chat Modes Explained: Party, Two-Shot, Peep & Two-Way
DXLIVE has several chat modes, and knowing the difference is the key to enjoying the site without overspending. Here's each one in plain English.
Party chat (group)
Multiple viewers share one performer's room. It's the cheapest per minute, great for warming up, getting a feel for a performer, and joining a lively room. You can usually chat by text and make requests, though you share attention with others.
Two-shot (private 1-on-1)
A private, one-on-one session — just you and the performer. It's the most personal mode and the most expensive per minute, because you have their full attention. Best saved for when you know what you want.
Peep (sneak view)
Peep lets you quietly watch an ongoing two-shot at a discounted rate. You can't interact, but it's a cheaper way to enjoy a live private session as a spectator.
Two-way (show your cam/mic)
In two-way mode you can turn on your own camera and microphone so the performer can see and hear you too. It's optional — many users never use it — but it makes the interaction feel more real. Your privacy is in your control; you choose whether to enable it.
Which mode should you pick?
| Mode | Cost | Interaction | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Party | Lowest | Shared / text | Warming up, casual fun |
| Peep | Low | Watch only | Enjoying privately, cheaply |
| Two-shot | Highest | Full 1-on-1 | A personal, private session |
| Two-way | Varies | Both cams on | The most immersive experience |
A smart flow: start in party chat → move to a two-shot when you've found the right performer. See the points guide to budget, and how to find performers.
